What Grafana already gives
Joining sources, variables, alerts and a visual grammar teams already know. The risk is the dashboard graveyard: more charts without more understanding. Observability asks for fewer surfaces and more relationship between signals.

- Use Grafana as a reading layer, not a parallel source of truth.
- Prioritise correlation (metric ↔ log ↔ incident) over polish.
- Declare any connector as a trial until scope and licence are clear.
